The UBC Esports Association is a non-profit, student run organization based out of the University of British Columbia. Our vision is to foster an inclusive esports community in the Greater Vancouver area. We offer events such as competitive tournaments, social events, celebrity meetups, and more!

The Legion Lounge by Lenovo

The Legion Lounge is UBC's only on-campus PC cafe and dedicated gaming space, located in Room 2132 in the AMS Nest.

Lounge hours:

Mon – 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Tue – 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Wed – 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Thurs – 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Fri – 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Weekends, Snow Days & Stat Holidays – Closed.

Memberships:

Regular - Reduced/no venue fee across UBCEA events, exclusive discount codes with our sponsors, access to the Legion Lounge for 1 hr/session (limited to 1 session per day).

Premium - All regular tier benefits plus access to the Legion Lounge for 2 hr/session (unlimited sessions per day), additional UBCEA discount codes with our sponsors.

Every week, we host casual in-house lobbies for games like league of legends, Valorant, and more, right in our Discord. No entry fee to join and all skill levels welcome!

Tournaments:

Want something more competitive? Eager to prove your skills? We regularly host tournaments for all your favourite games, with grand prizes for top competitors.

Flagship Events:

Our flagship events like Icebreaker and UBC Gaming Expo bridge the divide between collegiate esports and the professional industry with unique experiences.
