The UBC Mental Health Awareness Club (UBC MHAC) is a student-run initiative that was founded in the summer of 2010. We aim to destigmatize talks about mental health by providing students with free monthly events to help them destress. We are well-known for bringing Pet Therapy to UBC, where you can spend time with certified-therapy dogs around exam season. With every year, we aim to expand our club's outreach and further mental health advocacy.
