Welcome to the University of British Columbia's premier destination for all things theatre -- UBC Players Club! As one of the oldest and the best clubs at UBC, the Players Club has a rich history of connecting students, faculty, and the wider community through the art of performance.

Our mission is to provide safe, inclusive, and accessible opportunities for anyone at UBC to participate in all aspects of UBC theatre!

What does your club offer?

We offer a wide range of theatrical experiences, including our Fall Mainstage production and our short play festival, Festival Dionysia, in the Spring.

We also host events for members and non-members throughout the term to offer opportunities to bond with peers and learn more about the world of theatre. Please stay tuned for many exciting 2024/25 events!

How can I become a member?

To receive exclusive perks and opportunities, you can join our club as a member.

UBC Students: $5/season
General public: $8/season
Participants in a show: $2/season

To sign up, you must:

Pay the membership fee
Join UBC Players Club on AMS CampusBase, and sign the waiver
Enjoy your UBCPC membership!

How can I get involved in productions?

Applications for cast and crew for these productions open at the start of every term, and we hire a wide variety of roles, including actors, stage managers, and designers (lighting, sound, costumes, makeup, set, props).
