AMS Women Empowerment Club @ UBC
We are a student-led organization dedicated to uplifting self-identifying women in all aspects of life. 💕 Our club hosts monthly events, a bi-weekly book club, monthly podcast episodes, and fundraisers throughout the year! With a membership fee of just $3 for the entire year, we aim to foster a vibrant, supportive community.
Our Goals:
- Create a safe and inclusive space for self-identifying women, 2SLGBTQIA+, gender non-conforming people, and their allies at UBC.
- Advocate for gender equity in today’s society.
- Promote intersectionality in feminism through education and conversation.
- Raise awareness and support for local women-led and women-supporting organizations.
To join our club, please press the join button on our site and fill out the google form! Then please e-transer $3 to our treasurer, at hsophie5872@gmail.com. Please include a note in the e-transfer that says "WEC Membership"
